MRCI Supports Dakota County with Innovation Grant
MRCI-CDS has been selected by Dakota County to assist as an FSE with a new Innovation Grant for Autism Spectrum Disorders. These Innovation Grants can fund things that directly benefit families, from $500 to a couple thousand dollars for Caregiver Relief.
Jennifer Drganc, Vice President of CDS said, “We are excited to have an opportunity to partner with Dakota County again on an innovative solution for families.”
The ASD Grant can fund services and supports for individuals with ASD or similar support needs who have gaps in current funding or services. The grant has a specific focus on respite or other supports that provide caregiver relief, but also provides a unique opportunity to try innovative ideas that help integrate people in their community. These small grants can go for things like community engagement, increase social roles, training, or respite services
